The Two Sided Blade

In the meditation I did for this work I found a bit of a problem. The part of me I most liked was also the part of myself I was most frustrated by.

The will to survive, fight, defend myself, and find better and safer ground. It’s how I have what I do today and the reason I am who I am today – but it’s also the reason I’m having the learn to relax and live, to do more than survive.

But that’s the next journey. This got me to the point that it’s a journey I can even go on. And there is everything to be grateful for in that.
