What is Discord?

Discord is a group-chatting platform initially built for gamers. Still, it has since become a general-use platform for all sorts of communities, and we have our rogue community there. Discord is a separate application from our website, but you can connect your membership account with Discord and gain access. If you have never used Discord, remember there may be a learning curve, just like anything else new. It is not necessary to sign up for Discord, however, if you want to connect to the community members, this is how.

Discord is an all-in-one voice and text chat that we use to add an extra layer of communication for our community. You can learn more about Discord by visiting their website directly here.

How do I access my Discord (ROGUE ARTIST MEMBER) role?  

You can gain access to our Discord server by following these steps: 

Step 1- Go to this page. Congratulations! You are here. If you are a member, you will see a connection button at the top of this page. The connection button will also be on other parts of the site, but you don’t need to worry about that, if you are here, you’re in the right place.

It will be located at the top of this page and look like this:

Step 2  – Once you click the box to Connect to Discord, a separate window will appear requesting you to log into your Discord account. If you already have a Discord account, you’ll need to sign into your Discord account here.  If you don’t yet have a Discord account, you can create one by selecting the option to Register.

Step 3- Authorize Discord’s access to your Rogue Membership account.  

Step 4- You’re all set! Everything else will occur on Discord.

What If I Get Disconnected From Discord?

Go to your membership dashboard or back to this page and find the discord button.

You may have accidentally gotten disconnected if your membership lapsed for any reason. If that is the case just follow steps 1 -4 above and log into your Discord account.

I Need More Assistance, Please Help?

If for whatever reason it is not giving you access, you may need to reconnect your account.  

Step 1: Log out of Discord.

Step 2: Disconnect your Discord and Rogue Membership account above. You’ll see the option to disconnect your Discord and Rogue Membership Account.   

Step 3: Disconnect Discord by clicking on the red button.  

Step 4: Re-connect by clicking the green button and login back into Discord.

OUR RULES ON DISCORD

These rules have been put in place for you to follow. If you break these rules you may be asked to leave. We want our server to be a safe place for everyone. So none of the following will be tolerated:

  1. No offensive messages or nicknames – Anything that a reasonable person might find offensive.
  2. No spam – This includes but is not limited to loud/obnoxious noises in voice, @mention spam, character spam, image spam, and message spam.
  3. No Gorey, Sexual, or scary non-art related content – Screamer links, porn, death, are not welcome.
  4. No harassment – Including sexual harassment or encouraging harassment.
  5. Use the appropriate channels.
  6. No self or user bots – These are, in some cases, against the discord TOS and if you need a bot for something use one of the bots already in the server
  7. Swearing is allowed so long as it isn’t directed at another member.
  8. There may be situations not covered by the rules or times when the rule may not fit the situation. We will consider each situation individually, including but not limited to:
  • Spam
  • General Rudeness (Being intentionally rude to another person)
  • Arguing
  • Chat Trolling to extents beyond actual trolling.
  • Inappropriate behavior
  • Unapproved Links
  • Rioting
  • Threats
  • Spammy advertisements will result in a server mute.
  • Discrimination/Racism
  • death or malicious threats are INSTANT BAN
  • No using 3rd party software (bots) for Leveling Boosting on this server
  • Revealing Personal information of anyone on the server
  • Do not tag everyone unless it is crucial. That is SPAM
  • No Drama Starting
  • Do not exploit a Discord Glitch/Bug.
  • If caught using bots / 3rd Party Software to level you’re account will result in a account reset / ban.
  • Please do not ask for personal information from us or discord users.
