Who Are You?	I was delighted to discover in 2015 that I had been a lifelong artist. I fell in love with pastels and have continued a devoted relationship with the medium, finding great joy in the immediacy of the many hues. My ultimate goal as an artist is to see truly, therefore to know, and therefore to worship the Creator and extend love to the viewer. I delight in sharing this gift of art with others. My current body of work in pastel on paper explores floral, landscape, animal and abstract subjects. My paintings are often nostalgic, seldom subtle, and occasionally whimsical. I love color so much! I seek out the intimate views that are easily missed with a casual glance, and hope to inspire you to do the same. My work in ceramics focuses on making functional ware fun and personalized, but I’m still developing and excited about the process. I also teach a broad range of subjects one-on-one focusing on my passions of music and art. My students have been known to call me the “Magical Freaking Unicorn Teacher”.
