When You Want To Quit As An Artist

We run into many roadblocks as an artist trying to turn our creative passion into a career. I think it is vital to remember why you want to share your art in the first place because that will be what will motivate you through the rough times, and trust me, there will be rough times.

Listen to my Community Podcast below:

In this podcast, I respond to a beautifully written blog post on The Rogue Community site about the real-life struggles of doing this art career thing. This blog post hit home because I am very familiar with the feeling of wanting to give up.

  1. Great podcast Rafi, and super advice.
When I see other peoples art, I am not rejecting their art just because I am not bying it.
So I also never feel rejected just because my art don’t sell.
But on the other hand, I do not expect my art to feed me, if I did I would not feel free to create whatever I want to create.
I guess what I want to say is, that rafi’s advice in the podcast is perfect.
    Thanks.
    Hans Christian
